CircuitBench is a new site about learning electronics by building things.
Electronics can feel like two separate hobbies squeezed into one word: on one side there’s the microcontroller world of Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi, where you write code and things happen; on the other there’s the analog world of resistors, transistors, and breadboards, where the circuit itself does the work. Most guides pick a side. CircuitBench won’t — projects here will span both, because understanding one makes the other much easier.
Expect three kinds of posts:
- Buying guides — honest, hands-on recommendations for tools and components, not exhaustive spec-sheet comparisons.
- Tutorials — the fundamentals: reading a resistor colour code, using a breadboard, soldering your first joint.
- Projects — small, buildable things, starting simple and building up.
More to come soon.
